Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates in clerical cadre total 17140 posts in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State and for one post only.
Interested candidates may apply as per proper format only through provided online facility on or before 25-04-2016. Before filling online application, candidates should have scan copy of photograph, signature, a valid email-id and phone number. Candidates are requested to enter all asking detail carefully in online application at appropriate place.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will consist three phase of on-line test preliminary & main examinations (test of official and/or local language) and interview.
Preliminary Examination : Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as: (a.) English Language (30 question of 30 marks), (b.)Numerical Abiliy (35 question of 35 marks) and (c.) Reasoning Ability (35 question of 35 marks).
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. Number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank will be short listed for the Main Examination.
Main Examination : Main Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 200 marks (100 question) will be conducted online. This test would be of 2 Hours 40 minute duration consisting of 4 Sections as: (a.) General/Financial Awareness (50 question of 50 marks), (b.) General English (40 question of 40 marks), (c.) Quantitative Aptitude (50 question of 50 marks) and (d.) Reasoning Ability& Computer Aptitude (50 question of 60 marks). Each test will have separate timing.
The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English &Hindi. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.
Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their marks in descending order in respective categories. Depending upon the number of vacancies only certain number of candidates will be called for interview. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks in interview to be considered for final selection.
Final Selection : The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be added for the selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination will be added to the marks obtained in Interview for preparation of the final merit list. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate performance in the test (main examination) and interview taken together.
Fee Structure :
Candidates should pay Rs. 600/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) as application fee through online payment gateway by using debit card/ credit card/ internet banking etc.
How to Apply :
Candidates will be required to register themselves online through provided facility. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking. Candidates should have valid email ID which should be kept active till the declaration of results.
Fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data. After submission of application, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note the registration number and password. This facility will be available three times only. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data. No change /edit will be allowed thereafter.
After ensuring the detail of the particulars of the application form, candidates are required to pay fees through the payment gateway. On successful completion of the transaction of application fees, e-receipt and application form will be generated; which should be printed for record. The printout of the application form is not to be sent to the Bank.
There is also a provision to reprint the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at later stage.
Candidates are advised to fill online form well before the due date to avoid last time rush.
