US OPEN 2016 – Overview


The 2016 US Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 136th edition of the US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It took place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The dynamic fare pricing announced for the Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto trains on an “experimental basis” has been justified by the Ministry of Railways as a means to shore up lagging passenger revenues.
